Golden Dew Tufted Hair Grass is primarily grown for its highly ornamental fruit. The gold seed heads are carried on showy plumes displayed in abundance from early fall to early winter. It features delicate spikes of yellow flowers with chartreuse overtones rising above the foliage from late spring to early summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its grassy leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year.
