Description

A drought tolerant, low growing, spreading variety that looks stunning in rock gardens, borders or as groundcover; features narrow green foliage and small, dainty white flowers that bloom during the fall; easy to grow, requiring little to no maintenance

Ornamental Features

Snow Flurry Aster has masses of beautiful white daisy flowers with yellow eyes at the ends of the stems from late summer to late fall, which are most effective when planted in groupings. Its ferny leaves remain emerald green in color throughout the season.

Planting & Growing

Snow Flurry Aster will grow to be about 10 inches tall at maturity extending to 16 inches tall with the flowers, with a spread of 18 inches. Its foliage tends to remain low and dense right to the ground. It grows at a medium rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 10 years. As an herbaceous perennial, this plant will usually die back to the crown each winter, and will regrow from the base each spring. Be careful not to disturb the crown in late winter when it may not be readily seen!
